Peony

Peony... This is such a beautiful flower. We learnt the techniques to make this flower in a 2-half-day course. Really loves how it turned out.The full bloom and open full bloom, with the stamen shown.
Such a nice view of the flower. No wonder it is named as a "prosperous" flower...

Pooh & Friends

Yes!! Pooh theme again!! My ex-colleague ordered this cute, little cake for her to celebrate her hubby's birthday.See Pooh with the hunny pot? And Tigger with a butterfly attached to his nose. Hahaha... Piglet is lying on his tummy watching what Eeyore is trying to do. Eeyore wanted to climb up to the top of the cake. But, oopppsss... not enough space for him already...A back view of this cake. Nice flowers here... :)

Cupcakes Delight - Green Theme

My girl's classmate mummy approached me to help baked some cuppies for her son to celebrate his birthday in school. She told me her son was born on the same day as me and so, i readily accepted this order. Customer came with a very simple request. She wanted a "GREEN COLOR" theme. No specified design. All up to me to decide on anything, as long as it's green. I was scratching my head for a while thinking of what is green and will be of interest to this little boy...
Finally, i approached my kid's teacher to ask her to help find out what he likes before i starts on this work. And, "ta-ta"... this is the outcome.
The birthday boy likes garden. So, here's all the leaves, bugs, bees, beetles...

Angelina Ballerina

Do you know of this little rat called Angelina Ballerina? A customer ordered this cake for her hubby’s birthday. The theme is mouse b’cos both her hubby and daughter were born in the year of rat.


Here’s the little mouse is dancing at the side of the cake, with daddy mouse working in front of the computer looking at his darling…

iPod Phone

An ipod phone cake!! Yes, this is a real exciting project done. I was thinking of it for a long, long time on how to get it done. Researched around, but customer came back to me with a design in mind and wanted me to make it, though not required to do a 100% alike cake.



See the 14 applications buttons? It took me the most effort in getting them done. No cutter to cut out the designs, all done by my own discretion. Glad how it turns out. I was almost contemplating to do icing imaging instead. Hahaha...



Oh, moo moo cow here. Customer wanted a pink cow to be seated next to the phone, so here she is. :)

Pooh having party!!

A colleague requested a Pooh cake. Another good chance for me to practice my skills in molding Pooh and friends. I’ve selected a party theme for her. Let’s join in the fun…

Football Fever!!

My dear friend wanted a football theme cake for her son's 1st birthday celebration since it's the World Cup period. She came to me with a design in mind and also requested to add in 4 animals she liked. Both of us like how it finally turns out!! :)

My colleague sister-in-law wanted a baby pooh bear theme to celebrate her daughter's birthday. Ended up, i mis-interpreted her wants and did a pooh bear theme instead. Oooppss.. Nevertheless, she's still happy with the outcome. Pooh with friends in the garden..

I like this kind of lifestyle too, idle in the garden and do nothing, just enjoying the nature...

Strawberry Shortcake

My sister's colleague ordered a cute cake to celebrate her daughter's birthday. Theme selected: Strawberry Shortcake. She also requested for the strawberry shortcake's dog to be placed on the cake. I did a bit of researched and finally found out that she had a little dog who is white and black in color.


Like how the strawberry house turned out to be. I have bought some fresh strawberries to be placed on the cake too. The house wrapped a huge strawberry in it too. :)

Wheels on the bus...

My colleague wanted to celebrate his Father's Day with his little baby and requested for a bus cake. His son love buses and he also wanted 6 other cute animals to be on the bus...

Ooppss.. The zebra is sitting in the middle of the road!! See the expression on the bus?? "Beep, beep"!!

Flowers and Fruits Cupcakes

My kids childcare centre is having a Mother's Day celebration and i had volunteered to bake and decorate some cupcakes for the centre. The selected theme: "Flowers and Fruits". Flowers are for the mummies and fruits are for the children.

Cherries.. I love them, so added quite a number of them, but my girl prefers strawberries more. Don’t worry, mummy had both of these fruits on the cupcake, dear. :)

Roses

My darling daughter's teacher ordered a chocolate fudge cake to celebrate her birthday with her friends, whom birthday also fall in the same month. She had requested to use less sugarpaste for the cake, so i omitted the coating of the cake with sugarpaste and just covered it with chocolate ganache. The decorating was done with hand-made roses.

I had purposely uses bright colors for the roses and butterflies to complement the dull color of the chocolate fudge cake.

Circus Cake

My darling daughter's birthday is just barely 2 weeks away from her brother's birthday, so i quickly set to work on her 3rd birthday cake. I've specially selected this theme: circus, for her. It was inspired by a book which we had borrowed from the library and she likes the circus story so much and i just put this into consideration when i did her cake. Here's the result...
I like how this cake turns out, especially with the "shooting stars". A very Happy Birthday, my darling...

Animals in the zoo...

My darling son 1st birthday!! His very 1st cake baked and decorated with love by mummy. :)
I had chosen an animals theme for him. Since he was born in the year of oxen, I’ve made a little cow sitting on top of the cake. I realized it later that i should have made a bull for him instead. Hahaha.. Mummy’s mistake...

See the little cute, fat face at the side of the top tier cake? It was made to resemble my son. He’s such a chubby little boy now.

Vaccum Cleaner

A birthday cake which i had baked for my mummy. She always celebrate her birthday during the lunar new year period and this is the time where most cake shops will be closed. So, i just do it myself and added something special, ie. the "ang bao" portion. Every year, i would give my mum a red packet for her as a birthday present. This year, it's a vaccum cleaner with "cash" being sucked into it's tummy...
