Pirate Ship
My daughter's ex-schoolmate mummy requested for a pirate ship for her darling son to celebrate his 5th birthday. Her son is currently so intrigued with pirates and had wanted a huge pirate ship cake for his birthday.
Mummy ordered a large cake so he can share with more than 50 of his schoolmates in the childcare centre. I was really so busy baking and craving out the shape of the ship over the weekend. Thanks to my hubby for helping to take care of the kids, else, judging from the time i took to bake the 2 big cakes (joined together here), i would have to sleep at 3-4am in the morning already.
:)
Made a total of 3 pirates here. Love how they turned out. Thanks for Fei's mummy for giving me the chance to practice more on my workmanship to mold human!!
Specially did the waves here with buttercream. I normally don't do piping work for sugarpaste order, but can't help it cos' what is a ship in the sea without "waves". Hahaha..

Flower Basket
My darling girl's ex-teacher ordered a small cake to celebrate her friend's 21st birthday. A simple request of flowers... I had been wanting to do a basket full of flowers and this is the best chance for me to work on this theme..
Ohh... beautiful flowers.. i did some roses, sunflowers, carnations and daisy. Can you spot them?
Some little butterflies and fallen leaves around the base of the basket...
Wedding Cup cake - Just Hitched
My colleague ordered some 12 cupcakes for her dear cousin's wedding morning tea reception. Her request are simply a set of bride and groom, with a "Just Hitched" written on the cuppies.
So, here's the "Just Hitched" on the cupcake written with edible ink... :)
Loved this "xi" word. I found it while shopping in PH and bought it immediately. Hahaha... So, now it comes in handy!!
Hmmm... Since my colleague didn't specify any theme for her cuppies order, i took the liberty and complement her request with flowers theme. Roses are an all time favorite, so, i added some of it in my design.. Noted some piping work here? I rarely do piping, but made it special here and piped the stems with buttercream...
These are the main character, the bride and groom figurines!! Hehehe... love them, so sweet.. :)
Heart-shaped cake

Finally, got the chance to work on a 2-tier cake. Hahaha... Ryan's mummy came to me with a simple request. She wanted a boy, cow and football. She needed the cake to serve approximately 50 guests and i suggested to do a double tier cake. So now, this is the outcome...
Like this little prince here... It reminds me of my own son when i did his 1st birthday cake. I also wanted to do a prince theme for my son, but didn't make it due to me still not good at molding human figurines and not sufficient time to do it. Ohh.. cute, little prince. :p
Side view of the lower tier. Hehehe... 2D footballs here. I was so excited about making the footballs and ended up doing a total of 4 pcs.
Love the little beetles, butterflies and bees here. Happy 1st Birthday, Ryan!!

Baby in Bassinet
A cute baby with a little teddy bear in a bassinet. This is a very special 1st month cake to me... simply because the baby has the same name as me. Went surfing around and found a beautiful design and requested the mummy to allow me to do it and so this is the outcome!! :)
Shheee... don't make noise. The sweet little baby is sleeping while her little teddy bear looks on...
Ohh... beautiful roses..this took me the most time to do, all hand-made by auntie Gisele. Hahaha... so, my Masters in cake decoration didn't gone waste huh? Nice, nice...
Happy 1st month, Baby Giselle!!
:p

Mainly, she wanted a rock band team with drum, guiter and keyboard. I've only managed 2 of the musical instruments requested. Hahaha... easier to do the mike instead..
Yippie... i was trying so hard to fit in all the words. Hahaha... so this is how it turns out. Happy Birthday, Marcel!!

Ben10 cake
Ben10 cake.
This is an order from a wonderful ex-colleague. I still remembered we got preggy at around the same time and our kids are both 3 years old this year. So nice...
See Ben10 here? The handsome guy in the story... I've added some shooting stars and "stones" around, to give it a more galaxy feel...
A green monster here. I didn't know the names of these 3 creatures till my ex-colleague checked with her son and told me. He is Swampfire. Transformed from the good Ben10.
This is also another creature who was transformed from Ben10.
The last creature here is Heat Blast, also another transformation from Ben10. Both of us simply don't understand why Ben10 has to transformed to become these creatures. hahaha... Maybe the kids know better than us... :)

Ninja
Ninja!!!
Yes, this is the theme my colleague requested, simply due to her to-be-hubby looks like ninja when he worn the wedding attire. Ohh... they are so loving..
See the guy ninja holding a rainbow? There's a beautiful story to it but i won't share it with all here.. Not so nice lar, hor?
And the female ninja holding a beautiful heart here... Guess why lor...
This is the picture my colleague had sketched. She's talented in drawing, right? I simply followed what she had shown me and made the cake accordingly..

Disney Car - Lighting McQueen
Lightening McQueen!!! Cars... Boys' favourite!!
This is an order by my sis-in-law for her nephew 4th birthday. Hmmm...
I was trying to make the car looks a bit more sporty and cartoon-like, so you can see the "big head" here. hahaha...
Side view is a country-side scenery.. Nice view, huh?
Noted another thing here? Yes!! The "Happy Birthday" is standing upright!! Yippie, i finally managed to do what i had being wanting to do.. that is... to make the wordings stand upright..
